Mechanical Repairs
Marina del Rey's certified technicians, Jim and David, both benefit from a wealth of experience and are well experienced at troubleshooting and repairing all kinds of problems. Repairs include ful engine and stern drive teardowns and assembly.
Structural Repairs
Our service staff is also qualified to do all types of structural repairs. These repairs include replacing a weak transom or fixing a broken stringer. You can be sure of a quality job insuring your boats value remains high.
Glass & Gel Repair, Painting and Buffing
Marina del Rey does all types of gel and glass repairs. This includes everything from gel fill and buff to a major impact repair.
Osmosis Repairs
Osmosis is a condition that appears as small blisters on a fiberglass hull surface below the water line. It is important that this problem be repaired properly because this condition allows water to transfer into the inner core of the boat. Marina del Rey uses a multi-step procedure developed by Interlux to repair and seal the damaged surface preventing future deterioration. Brian Dumont - Master Shipwright
The marina is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with master
shipwright Brian Dumont to provide custom gel and fibreglass marine repair
services in the newly erected marina shop. Brian’s thirty five years of boat
building and repair experience will bring a level of in-house service not
previously available at the marina. |
